MIchael started out shooting no-budget skit shows on a VHS-C camera.  Attended New York Film Academy in the summer of 1998, where he also produced his first short film 'The Day the Mimes Pushed Back' which premiered on IFILM.com to good reviews.

In the fall of 1999, Michael co-founded Up on the Roof Productions and moved into the digital age with his first DV Short 'The Hero'.  The story of an ordinary man who finds himself saving a damsel in distress palced in the top ten of the TriggerStreet.com Season 2 online film festival and won 'Best in Category' at the 2003 Dragon*Con Short Film Festival.

He produced his first feature in the summer of 2003 with 'Save the Forest', an indie comedy about hapless movie theater employees who try to save their endangered cinema from destruction.  The movie found a home with a Newmark/Echelon Entertainment Company and is available for sale on serveral websites and for rent on Netflix.

Keeping those writing and directing muscles flexed, Michael prdouced his last short in the winter of 2005 entitled 'One Up' which currently enjoys outstanding reviews on Triggerstreet.com.  The DV Short was also an official selection of the 2005 Coney Island Film Festival, 2005 Long Island International Film Expo, 2007 FYLMZ Festival (Nashville, 2007 Staten Island Film Festival and Wildsound Feedback Festival.

Michael has recently wrapped post-production on his latest short film, 'Running in Place' and is currently developing an internet series entitled 'Adam Parker and the Radioactive Boy Scout'.

Jason Goode

A Pic Getting his start on the stage in 12 Angry Men and Match, Jason eventually moved behind the camera to direct his first film: Ducks. His most recent film, the award-winning short The Hitchhiker, has screened at festivals all over North America and been translated into four languages. Jason is a graduate of the University of Calgary, and has a master’s degree from Regent College. Next spring the White Rock native will direct Sarah-Jane Redmond and Aleks Paunovic in the play Danny and the Deep Blue Sea by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright John Patrick Shanley. Jason lives in Vancouver, B.C., with his wife, Christie, and their newborn girl, Mahri.

Jeffrey Toyne has succeeded in establishing himself as one of today’s most promising young composers of film and television music. While still a student, Mr. Toyne completed the score to his first feature film, Maxwell’s Demon, in 1998. Upon earning a Master’s degree in composition, Mr. Toyne was chosen to attend the Henry Mancini Institute in Los Angeles and later earned a certificate in Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television from the University of Southern California. In 2001, he began work alongside respected film composer Edward Shearmur in Los Angeles. This collaboration has led to credit on numerous motion pictures including K-PAX, Reign of Fire, Charlie’s Angels 2: Full Throttle, and Johnny English. Increasingly in demand internationally, Mr. Toyne has orchestrated music for the Japanese feature Hotaru no Hoshi (which he also conducted), the BBC docu-drama Colosseum: A Gladiator’s Story, and Michael Kamen’s posthumous score for Back to Gaya. Among his other film credits he counts the feature film Midnight is Coming, and over thirty short films, including two Academy Award nominees. For television, Mr. Toyne composed the theme for the CTV pilot The Daily Blade; current endeavours include music for noted animated and reality television series. The recipient of numerous awards and distinctions, his Songs of Innocence received the Godfrey Ridout Award for choral composition in the 1998 SOCAN Young Composer’s Competition. Mr. Toyne has been commissioned by organizations such as the Canadian Armed Forces, for which he composed Splendor Sine Occasu, the Official March of the British Columbia Brigade, and more recently, the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, as part of their Olympic Comissioning Project. Born in Canada, Mr. Toyne divides his time between Los Angeles and Vancouver.
