Heather Dotto is truly a one of a kind dancer who captivates all those lucky enough to have seen her perform. Heather received the majority of her training from highly respected Vancouver choreographer Cori Caulfield. Heather has had the opportunity to perform the role of Nanny with Cori's Coriograph Theatre at the Evergreen Cultural Centre. Competitively, Heather has had many notable achievements including the honour of being the first Canadian Dancer of the Year at the BC Annual Dance Competition and the BC Provincial Champion in Stage Dance. Last year Heather placed third in the National Dance Championships held in Los Angeles, California and then went on to receive numerous excellence awards while competing at the Hawaii Dance Experience in Maui, Hawaii. Heather has performed in the opening ceremonies of the BC Summer Games and played the role of "Pepper" in the Lindbjerg Academy of the Performing Arts production of Annie. Heather has danced with the Source Dance Company, directed by Joanne Pesusich and choreographed for Move Dance Co., formerly directed by Josh Beamish. Heather is currently dancing, travelling and teaching in Australia, but will be returning home to Vancouver in the fall to dance and choreograph for Josh Beamish's MOVE: the company.
JOEL STURROCKThe Boyfriend
Joel Sturrock, a native of Lloydminster Alberta, began dancing at the age of five spring boarding him into not only a career but a life of storytelling contemporary and commercial ideas through the art of dance. As a child he performed with Dance Saskatchewan's Dare 2 Dance Company but left home at the age of 16 to train at Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet. With his time there he also ventured into theater, voice and film landing him a role in the TV movie "Hell of Heels; The Battle of Mary Kay" starring Shirley Mclaine. Joel is also a graduate of the Canadian College of Performing Arts with a mentorship in Choreography under Jacques Lemay, where he was assistant choreographer for the show "On Broadway". Joel performed at the Royal Visit of her majesty Queen Elizabeth II in Victoria, Canada and has appeared in various independent films. On and off for the past three years he has performed all over North America and Europe with the Jean Ann Ryan Company on board Norwegian Cruise Lines. One of his most memorable moments was performing with Avenue Q's Johnny Tartaglia in his Off-Broadway show AD-Liberty. Joel is currently a member of Move; The Company, directed by Josh Beamish.
STEPHEN AGISILAOUDrug Dealer
A natural performer, Stephen is extensively trained in jazz, musical theater and classical ballet. A life-long admirer of the arts, Stephen is a self-taught dancer. With no prior dance training, he embarked on fulfulling his dream of becoming a professional dancer by auditioning for the full time dance course at Melbourne, Australia's DanceWorld 301 in 2000. Stephen's inborn ability to engage an audience, saw him through this first audition and he rose to become the featured male dancer in many of his performances throughout his duration in the renowned course. Upon graduating in 2004, Stephen emerged to become one of Melbourne's most sought after Hip-Hop teachers. He started teaching regular classes at Melbourne's best dance schools (United Styles, The Space, The Edge and as a faculty member of DanceWorld 301). In 2004, Stephen became one of the first members of DANCE2XS Australia, who in 2006 opened their own dance school, the Melbourne Music Academy. Acclaimed for his unique, detailed and technical approach to choreography, Stephen has developed his individual style of hip-hop becoming widely popular amongst a strong patronage of professional dancers in Australia. Stephen's style is an amalgamation of raw hip hop movement and the established form of Jazz. As an assistant choreographer for Dance2xs, he takes great pride in his work. Stephen's credits include music videos such as So Hot Right Now by Australia's latest RnB artist, Jade McRae and TV performances, such as the "Star Struck" series. In 2004 were he was a featured dancer every week, Stephen was asked to tour Australia as an assistant for Teresa Espinosa (Janet Jackson, Britney Spears) and Kevin Maher (Missy Elliot, Mariah Carey), as they tought a series of workshops. Stephen has recently relocated to Canada, where he is currently dancing as a member of MOVE: the company, directed by Josh Beamish.
